My daughter loves sunflowers and I love photographing the various sunflower fields in Colorado. Each year when the sunflowers bloom at the end of the summer we head out to view the gorgeous sunflowers and capture some unique and scenic Colorado landscape photos. This year we went to the large sunflower fields around Denver International Airport just before sunset and in between passing thunder storms. We timed it just right to see and photograph the sunflower fields against a backdrop of cloudy skies mixed with sunset light. In the second photo I zoomed in for a more unique perspective which implies the sunflower field goes on forever. While some of the best sunflower fields are by Denver International Airport, the fields are private property with a potential penalty for trespassing, so be sure to keep out of the fields and leave no trace.
