My autumn mountain landscape photograph of Mt. Moran and Oxbow Bend in Grand Teton National Park was selected as today’s Photo of the Day by National Geographic Magazine.
Taken in the fall of 2011, this image captures a beautiful reflection of Mt. Moran in the water of the Snake River as it passes Oxbow Bend on a stormy fall day. Storm clouds obscured the mountains for most of the morning, clearing a bit for this photograph, although clouds still cover the summit of Mt. Moran.
