While visiting family over the holidays I had an opportunity to go out for an afternoon drive along the back country roads of Central Illinois. With camera in hand I was able to capture a few rural Illinois landscape photos, including an amazing sunset landscape. I really enjoyed the stark contrast in the landscape compared to the mountain scenes I typically encounter in Colorado. Each of these photos were taken late in the day after a substantial winter rain storm had passed through. I especially love the sun star at sunset over the grain bins and silos.
